Privacy Policy

SMOKE is operated by Rip Build, Inc., a Delaware C Corporation (“SMOKE”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you join the waitlist, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website only.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we store:
- Your phone number, in international format, and the number exactly as you typed it.
- The date and time you joined, recorded by our server.
- Your position in the waitlist and the wave it places you in.
- A referral code issued to you, and a count of people who joined using it.
- Which of our domains you signed up from.
- The referral code you arrived with, if someone shared their link with you.
We do not ask for your name, email address, date of birth, payment details or location, and we do not collect them on this site.
How we use it
- To hold your place in the waitlist and show you your position.
- To send you a one-time code by SMS so we can confirm the number is yours.
- To text you when SMOKE is ready for you, and about your place in line.
- To credit referrals to the person who referred you.
We do not sell your phone number, rent it, or share it for anyone else's advertising.
Text messages
Joining the waitlist means you agree to receive SMS from us about SMOKE. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out; reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not remove you from the waitlist — see below for that.
Who else handles your data
We use Google Firebase to verify your phone number, store waitlist entries and host this site. Google processes your phone number to deliver the verification SMS and applies its own privacy terms to that processing.
This site is protected by reCAPTCHA, which Google uses to tell real visitors from automated abuse. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to it.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist entry until SMOKE launches and you have had a reasonable opportunity to use your place, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Deleting your entry gives up your place in the waitlist and any referrals credited to you, and we cannot restore them afterwards. Email team@smoke.games from a position where you can receive a text at the number in question, so we can confirm it is yours.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We honour those requests through the same address.
Children
SMOKE is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has joined the waitlist, contact us and we will remove the entry.
Security
Waitlist entries can only be written by someone who has proven control of that phone number, and cannot be read by other visitors. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
